
Donna – born in Purcell, Okla. Mike – born in Lawton, Okla and moved to Purcell, Okla. at the age of 5. Both completed high school in Purcell. Mike attended Oklahoma University and Donna attended the rivalry school Oklahoma State University. After college years, Mike became General Mgr. at a local Chevrolet dealership for a few years and Donna started in the banking business. Marriage was in 1983. Woooohooooo… Soon to be 28 years!!! We moved to Arlington, Texas in 1985. Mike left the car business and Donna left the banking world and both eventually were employed together at AmeriCredit. Mike is still there after 21 years and oversees the IT Dept. Donna is now employed at the Lighthouse for the Blind of Fort Worth, as an Administrative Asst. Our only child, Cami, was born in 1987. Cami graduated from Arlington High School and attended TCU where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. She married a SUPER guy, Sam, in 2009.
Donna and Mike – CrossFit of course. Riding motorcycles used to be a big hobby, but just had to call it quits. Love ‘em and had some amazing trips, but decided we’d had our fun on them and it was time to sale.
Donna – I’m too embarrassed to tell ya!
Mike – well, I was at a horse auction and waived to a friend and almost had to buy a horse. The auctioneer had to start the entire bidding over.
Donna – hangin’ with friends and family, going home to see my mom, reading magazines, cuddling with my favorite blanket and doggies on the couch.
Mike-watching movies particularly classic westerns, hangin’ with friends and family, and a beer or wine every now and then.
Donna and Mike – Be able to spend a significant amount of time in Hawaii.
Donna and Mike – well we must chalk that up to our daughter. She has always been passionate about health and fitness, especially wanting to educate her family. She began CrossFit and told us about it and kept pushing us to try it. Once she told us there was a BOX in Aledo, we called Kelly and inquired about it. We showed up on a Saturday, March 5 and Robbie gave us the spill. Sold! We started that following week and here we are. Great job, by the way, Robbie!

Donna and Mike – “You just got to try it and you may want to try a few different places to find the right one where ya just feel good!” When you find THE place for you it’s a given that you’ll want to keep going!”
Donna – a really pretty bird. My name would be Purty Bird.
Mike – my own dog (dogs have it made!) My name would be Duke.
I’m really proud of the both of you!!! So glad you are sticking with the hard work, even though the heat has been such a problem.
Donna, I think I could have handled you when you were young, but I believe you could handle me now.
